SH4.5B Kenya Sports Academy…what happened? A follow up by Idah Waringa.

In March 2013, a ground breaking ceremony was done at Kasarani for a one of a kind sports academy that would uplift the face of Kenyan sport. It was to cost roughly Sh4.5B ($45M) with the 1st phase set to be complete 2 years later.
Since then things went a bit quiet with not much media attention given to it’s progress.
So what happened? Did they start? Is it complete?
