In exclusive statements to PEOPLE magazine, the Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kenya Moore and her husband Marc Daly just shared with the world that their marriage has come to and end. And with this announcement coming just two years after their surprise marriage made headlines, as you can imagine, this news is leaving a lot of us feeling some type of way.
It’s Justin Diego back with another Bingeworthy video, and today with great sadness and disappointment let’s talk about how Kenya Moore fans just got some of the worst news ever and what the means for season 12 of the Real Housewives of Atlanta.
I was minding my business when someone tagged me on and instagram post about and article that read: RHOA Star Kenya Moore and Husband Marc Daly Split After 2 Years of Marriage. The first thing I did in full-blown denial was verified the source. Both People Magazine and Bravo were saying the same thing and I was shook. This is one of those rare times when I honestly don’t know what to say. I’ve heard things and I’ve payed attention to things but I didn’t want to accept the possibility that Kenya and Marc would ever split. The two have been married since June 2017 and their separation comes less than a year after Kenya gave birth to their first child, daughter Brooklyn Doris Daly, on Nov. 4, 2018.
In exclusive statements to PEOPLE, both Kenya Moore and Marc asked for privacy with Kenya saying.
“It is with profound sadness that I regret to inform my fans that I am divorcing my husband Marc Daly. Due to recent and ongoing circumstances, I can no longer continue in the marriage. My sole concern and focus is and will always be my daughter, Brooklyn, my miracle baby. She was made in love and true commitment. I ask for our privacy to be respected moving forward.”
I know that Kenya had some pretty big decisions to make after sitting out last season and from what I understand having Marc not be apart of the show was not an option this go around so I pray that had nothing to do with their decision. Kenya was clear since the begging that he never wanted to be apart of the spotlight but fans were looking forward to finally getting a peek inside of her life as a married woman with her husband and her daughter right by her side.
In a separate statement Marc said: I have come to the difficult decision to separate from Kenya at this time. Our daughter has two parents that love her very much and in her best interests, this situation should remain as private as possible. I cherish our family’s good times together and will continue to co-parent in a loving way. Rumors, innuendo or false accusations only serve to hurt our family and will be addressed through counsel as the law permits. Please respect our privacy during this challenging period.
